Jennifer & Joseph Musicaro
1990
Jennifer Rose was raised in Lake Orion, MI where riding horses was no stranger to her, even as a small child. By the time she was only seven, she was competing in the hunter/jumper discipline taking home the gold! By 15, the walls in Jens bedroom were painted by blue and red ribbons, lightly speckled with white. Always a hard worker, she decided purchase her first horse using money earned working in an old backyard barn nestled deep in the country. By 18, Jennifer was scouted to go professional. Her days were soon filled teaching horseback riding lessons, running summer camps, breaking horses, and even retraining old racehorses off the track, which eventually paid her way through college.
1994
It's Joe's 12th birthday and his mother hands him what appears to be a blank index card. On the backside of the card the words "Horseback Riding Lessons" are written. The very next day he started what would end up being the rest of his life at Lakeside Riding Academy, in Hempstead NY. After the completion of his paid lessons Joe began volunteering his time to the care of the horses, earning himself additional ride time. At the age of 13, Joe was hired as a paid employee who assisted in the stables trail riding program. It was then that Joe first met Sonny Garguilo now one of the countries leading equine problem solvers.
2002
Joe begins working as an assistant for a therapeutic and hippotherapy riding facility in Melville, NY.
2004
After graduating college Jennifer Rose moved to Virginia in pursuit of further advancing her knowledge and experience as an equine professional. It was at this time that Jennifer decided to explore the medical aspect of horses, and bravely undertook this change in concentration. For the next three years Jennifer Rose studied equine medicine with firsthand field experience. Jennifer was employed by The Oaks Equine as a veterinary technician, one of the largest equine veterinarians in the Tidewater region.
2010
Joe joins the United States Navy. During his time in the service he is assigned to a Special Project Unit sending him around the world several times. Due to the nature of his work, Joe never finds himself on a ship, but deploys boots on the ground traveling the world via aircraft. Due to this, Joe is given the unique opportunity to explore horsemanship in places such Asia and Europe.
2012
Jennifer Rose was contacted by a well known breeding farm which housed national level champion show horses. The farm asked Jennifer to come work for them, starting young horses under saddle. Following her heart and a deep rooted passion for training horses, Jennifer Rose made it her main focus once more.
2013
In was then that Joe left his duty station of Jacksonville FL and sent to be stationed on Marine Corps Base Kaneohe Bay. During his time in Hawaii he continued to pursue his passion for horses, riding at Kualoa Ranch, one of the filming locations of Jurassic Park. Little did he know, just a few years later Joe would train what was given to him as "a problem horse" that will end up participating in a New York city movie premiere of its own, on Broadway, as well as commercials for high end shopping centers at our nation's capital.
2015
Jennifer Rose decided to start her own full time training program. The scope of her work encompassed teaching students and training horses specializing in hunter/jumper. Starting young horses under saddle, teaching liberty work unbridled and & trick training were also areas of Jennifer's main focus.
2017
Jennifer Rose obtained her Harmony Horsemanship certification. Jennifer is always striving to better herself by and riding with fellow trainers and attending/hosting clinics. She has ridden with clinicians such as Lindsey Partridge of Harmony Horsemanship and Olympic silver medalist Greg Best. Jennifer has attended clinics with well-known horsemanship trainers such as Clinton Anderson, Craig Cameron, and Grand Prix Dressage rider & trainer Ben Albright. Jennifer has also been doing work for US warmblood breeders, bringing their young horses along and attending shows & breed inspections along the east coast. Jennifer Rose has a hunger. A hunger to always do better. Better by the horse, better by the client, and bettering herself. She has the humility to not have to be“the best” and to continue an education from “the best.” During a past lesson at Jennifer and Joe's facility taught by Grand Prix Dressage rider & trainer Ben Albright, Ben said in observation of Jen riding; “I have nothing to say, Jen! I have nothing to say!” Ben then muttered to spectators, “Look at her…just look at her…everything I taught her to do yesterday, she’s mastered today… I have nothing left to say.”
Jennifer simply smiled with gratitude and carried on with what she was doing. And that is, what she was born to do.

The two horses displayed the utmost trust and confidence in Jen and Joe as they attended the premiere, and while walking through the hustle and bustle of Times Square & Broadway.
